Things I built and still run

Each bay below is a real product. Where a product exposes something public, the widget is live and you can use it. Where the widget is still being built, it says so — I would rather show you the construction than fake the finish.

MezaTirgus

Know what your forest is worth.

Latvian forest owners are routinely offered a fraction of what their stand is worth, because they have no way to check. This gives them the number before the buyer arrives.

Species

An indicative market value based on real registered land transactions — a reference point for negotiation, not a certified valuation. Legal procedures (mortgage, inheritance, divorce) require a certified valuer’s report.

BezBaseina

Latvian property, without the middleman fee.

Rent, sale and nightly listings posted by the people who actually own them. The name is a joke about listings that advertise a pool they do not have.

Live Latvian timber prices.

The same engine that values a forest also tracks what each assortment sells for this week. These are the real numbers, updated from the market.

AUTOTO

An honest car market. Every listing has a VIN.

Built for people who care what the car actually is, not what the photo suggests. The VIN is mandatory, so history is checkable before you drive anywhere.

Brain Club

A business operating system.

The boring half of running a company — agreements, invoices, people, property, the law — in one place, with the registry data already loaded.

Vairogs

Answer fines, bills and scams with the law.

Reads the actual current text of Latvian law and writes you a complaint letter with the article references in it. Free, because the people who need it are the people being squeezed.

Izdosies

Here, Latvia succeeds.

A city-first directory of the people who actually do things in Latvia, built so a small business in a small town is findable at all.

The platform

How one person keeps this many things alive

Every site above shares one platform I built: deploys, DNS, mail, storage, analytics, goals and the request channel the products use to ask each other for work. It is how one person keeps this many things alive.

  • One deploy lane ships every site on this page.
  • DNS, mail, storage, analytics and backups are one system, not nine vendors.
  • Products ask each other for work on the record — including the widgets on this page.
  • AI does the shift work. I decide what is true and what ships.

Commissioned

Built for other people

Real Latvian businesses that pay for the work and are still online. Same machine, pointed at someone else’s problem.

Mārtiņš Īviņš

I build products and then I keep them running, which is the harder and less photogenic half of the job.

I have had a company that did not make it. That taught me more about what a business actually needs than the ones that worked, and most of what is on this page exists because of something that went wrong once.

The current experiment is simple: find out how much one person plus a well-built machine can actually operate. So far the answer is a fleet.
